First of all, thanks for being so supportive and excited for us. So Parker and I were working on putting together a new bunk bed for the boys...she was a very good helper by the way. Anyway, as we were working, Makay was off in her own little world practicing her vocal abilities. This video caught her at the very end of her performance. So enjoy our talented daughter...American Idol, here we come...and Santa Barbara (oops. sorry...not about me).

Why did you stop recording? She was just getting her mojo on there at the end. That's quite a set lungs she's got there. You lucky parents you! If our kids got together, they could so some serious vocal damage. You bring the video camera (and we'll provide the ear plugs). Still can't believe you're coming, it makes me smile just thinking about it!
I love that she is wearing a pop star hat too!
